The REDIC system is aimed at all Distribution Agencies, and does not depend on the management system they use.
The processing process takes place for each newsstand and the publications are identified by reading the barcode printed by the publisher.
Copies are taken and handled in an absolutely mechanized way; for each copy, an image is recorded in the control system and all the editorial data contained in the barcode is entered.
The system is also designed to handle unrecognized copies and copies to be rejected.
The maximum productivity in plants operating under normal conditions and with trained operators is between 2,500 and 3,000 pieces / hour with peaks of 4,000 pieces / hour.
